Black to Front // Black and Proud
Voiced by Lady Leshurr, this aired before Channel 4 dedicated their channel solely to black content on September 10th 2021, with the promise to improve Black inclusion and representation through their output into the future.
I wrote this as a love letter to black people that all are welcome to read and interpret, agree or disagree. It’s unapologetic and yet, admits to an ongoing problem in the industry that Channel 4 are committed to changing. It’ll show what has been done, but highlight all that could still be achieved.
Ru Paul’s Drag Race
We launched Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK Season 2 and introduced the world to 12 sensational new queens with a sassy TVC shot by Quinn Wilson and Eastenders royalty, Natalie Cassidy as the voice of the goat. The TVC was accompanied by a limited edition calendar, a print campaign and 12 Gay Times covers shot by Roxy Lee.
I MAY DESTROY YOU
I was absolutely honoured to work on this project. A GAL DEM X THE FACE X BBC online zine, exploring the Ins and Outs of Consent. What accompanied was an interactive gallery of letters addressed to Bob/Barbara, just like in I May Destroy You, inspired by conversations between real people who shared their stories online.
